Vivobarefoot Opens First U.S. Flagship in SoHo, Deepening American Presence
Vivobarefoot is bringing its first U.S. flagship to 248 Lafayette Street in SoHo this June, with foot scanning, movement coaching, and a ReVivo repair program on site.

Vivobarefoot's debut U.S. flagship lands at a 1,500-square-foot space in SoHo, set to open in June 2026, months after the British barefoot footwear brand established its regional headquarters in Austin, Texas. The address is 248 Lafayette Street.
Co-founder and CEO Galahad Clark has previously noted that "the UK, US, and DACH remain its strongest markets," and the Lafayette Street location is the clearest signal yet that the brand intends to stop treating America like a secondary priority. For a label built on the conviction that conventional footwear is structurally damaging the human body, a flagship in one of the world's most foot-traffic-heavy neighborhoods carries real argumentative weight.
Clark leaned into that logic directly: "New Yorkers walk more than almost anyone on earth, yet most do so in shoes that disconnect them from the ground beneath them." The store will offer Vivobarefoot's full barefoot collection for adults and children, alongside foot scanning and movement analysis, one-on-one natural movement coaching, and access to the brand's ReVivo programme, which provides repaired and reconditioned footwear and currently accounts for up to 15 percent of sales.
The SoHo flagship will feature the brand's signature biophilic, nature-led retail concept, built around natural light and a plant-rich interior, extending the format already established at its London and Bristol stores. It's a format that positions the space as less of a traditional shoe shop and more of a movement studio with product, which tracks with where the brand has always wanted to plant its flag in the American market.

Clark, whose family has been making shoes for seven generations, framed the brand's founding premise bluntly: "Vivobarefoot began with a simple but uncomfortable truth: modern footwear is part of the problem, so we chose to do something about it."
With a regional HQ already operational in Austin and now a flagship retail presence dropping in one of New York's highest-visibility retail corridors, Vivobarefoot is building U.S. infrastructure in a way that looks less like a test and more like a long-term commitment to the market.
