2026 Oscars Gift Bag Features Custom Prenups, Sri Lanka Trip, and Luxury Cannabis
The 2026 Oscars swag bag included a custom prenup from a celebrity divorce attorney, a Sri Lanka trip, and products from Beboe, cannabis's answer to Hermès.

The unofficial "Everyone Wins" gift bag handed to nominees at the 98th Academy Awards included a custom prenuptial agreement, a trip to Sri Lanka, liposuction, and a luxury cannabis set from Beboe, the brand Cosmopolitan calls "the Hermès of marijuana." Curated by Distinctive Assets, the L.A.-based entertainment marketing company that has produced the bag for years, the 2026 edition went to 25 nominees in the acting and directing categories whether they walked away with a trophy or not.
Lash Fary, founder of Distinctive Assets, framed the bag as recognition rather than consolation. "Win or lose, the nominees have touched our lives with their incredible performances and artistry," Fary said. "This is a small token of our esteem that we hope will be enjoyed and shared." The bags are not official gifts from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The reported value of the bag varied depending on the source: one outlet put the total at $500,000, while another reported the contents at over $100,000 in luxury items. Either figure reflects a significant escalation from an already extravagant tradition. Last year's bag was worth six figures and included liposuction, which returns again this year courtesy of ArtLipo's elite body-sculpting experience.
Travel anchored the bag's most headline-grabbing offerings. The Essence of Dreams villa in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica, valued at $9 million, came with a private concierge, chef, and driver. Hideout Villas contributed an Arctic stay in Finnish Lapland with Northern Lights viewing and a private chef. Nominees also received a super villa experience in Ibiza accommodating up to 16 guests and a seven-day wellness retreat at the Golden Door. The Sri Lanka trip, noted by Cosmopolitan, rounded out an itinerary that spanned four continents.
On the medical side, the bag included facial rejuvenation procedures from a leading plastic surgeon, a smile makeover from Beverly Hills Dental Arts, and a waitlisted facial at Rescue Spa. The custom prenuptial agreement, billed as available "to use or share," was drafted by celebrity divorce attorney James Sexton, whose firm offered the service under the Trusted Prenup banner. CBespoke added a custom residential interior design package for any nominee looking to renovate rather than litigate.
The cannabis offerings were the most extensive in the bag's history. Beboe's luxury gift set came with accessories. Cann Social Tonics contributed THC/CBD drink packets, RYTHM added high-potency products, and Señorita THC Margaritas offered alcohol-free THC margarita beverages. The snack tier skewed equally indulgent: Posh Pretzels supplied dark chocolate pretzels topped with edible gold crystals, TrüFrü sent freeze-dried fruit dipped in white and dark chocolate, and SkinnyDipped contributed dark chocolate coconut almond bites.
Asia Luggage's Kabuki-inspired Japanese bags and HUHA body-supportive underwear completed the fashion and lifestyle category, alongside a luxury tea assortment from Tea Forté. The range, from prenups to pretzels to Finnish villas, is what Cosmopolitan described as the "deliciously chaotic spirit of awards season." It has become, as Fary put it, the ultimate consolation prize.
