Eliezer faces backlash after hiding Valentine's gift in his underwear

Eliezer turned a Valentine’s Day gift into a stunt when he hid the case for a pair of glasses inside his underwear and walked into the bedroom looking for a “picante” delivery. The surprise was meant to be playful, but Viih Tube had just come home from work, was tired, and refused the moment he had staged for her.

The backlash came fast. Critics said the scene crossed from flirtation into embarrassment, especially because Eliezer also cast it as compatible with being an evangelical man. He pushed back hard, calling the criticism moral policing, while insisting that Christians also have sex lives.

Eliezer said the moment went wrong for another reason: Viih Tube was already upset with him after he had been rude to other people during the workday. On June 17, 2026, he said he tried to repair the situation by leaving the gift on her pillow, but she did not open it right away. He said he only understood the full reason for her irritation 16 hours later, and described the whole episode as “the worst Valentine’s surprise ever made by a husband.”

When Viih Tube finally saw the video of the underwear trick, Eliezer said she laughed it off with a mix of disbelief and sympathy. He quoted her as saying, “Que presepada é essa? Você tem 36 anos,” before softening to “Tadinho.”

The couple has been together since 2022 and share two children, Lua and Ravi. Their religious wedding was planned for August 2026, after the party was pushed back from June because of World Cup games, and Eliezer had already said in March that their honeymoon would last 10 days without the children.
