Andre Agassi-backed ASE Announces Las Vegas Launch of World Series of Pickleball
Agassi Sports Entertainment announced the World Series of Pickleball, to be headquartered and launched in Las Vegas, with Andre Agassi among principal shareholders and TEAM Marketing AG as a partner.

Agassi Sports Entertainment Corp. announced plans for the World Series of Pickleball, a new championship property it intends to own and develop with Switzerland-based TEAM Marketing AG, with tennis legend Andre Agassi counted among the company's principal shareholders. “Pickleball has become a meaningful part of my life as a player, a fan, and someone who genuinely enjoys the sport,” Agassi said, “The World Series of Pickleball will be about giving that community a global stage, where anyone who steps onto the court has the opportunity to compete and win.”
The company release, datelined LAS VEGAS, Feb. 17, 2026, states ASE (OTC PINK: AASP) is focused on sports entertainment and innovation in racquet sports and that World Series of Pickleball will be planned to be headquartered and launched in Las Vegas, Nevada. ASE noted it acquired the trademark and “all rights associated with the name 'World Series of Pickleball'” in June 2025, a purchase the company says establishes a foundation for a scalable sports property based in Las Vegas.
ASE described the planned event scope as including “a marquee open” plus “a team-based championship week welcoming players of all skill levels from around the world, with substantial prize purses and global celebrity participants” alongside pickleball professionals and everyday competitors. Ronald Boreta, CEO of Agassi Sports Entertainment, said, “Pickleball is ready for a championship platform that combines competition, entertainment, and world-class production. Launching the World Series of Pickleball from Las Vegas reflects our vision of building a property with durable relevance and long-term commercial potential.”
TEAM Marketing AG is identified as ASE’s principal development partner. Au Marketscreener’s coverage explicitly notes TEAM is widely recognized for helping build and commercialize the UEFA Champions League and brings more than three decades of experience in event architecture, sponsorship strategy, media integration, and international brand development, while PR Newswire and CNW describe TEAM as “a Switzerland-based global leader in the development, sales and delivery of world-class sports events.”

The company filing distributed via PR Newswire and CNW also carries investor-facing forward-looking risk language, warning that material factors may include, without limitation: (a) “the timing, cost, funding availability, anticipated benefits, and implementation of the Company's planned digital platform and World Series of Pickleball event;” (b) “the Company's ability to raise sufficient capital, including to satisfy obligations to third-party service providers, the terms on which such funding may be available, and potential dilution resulting therefrom;” (c) “intense competition in the court sports industry and the Company's ability to compete effectively;” and (d) “the Company's limited operating history and lack of significant revenues to date, and the risk that it may not achieve profitability or successfully execute its business plan, including, but not limited to in connection with the planned World Series of Pickleball event.”
Pickleball52’s reporting on the release reiterated the event features and explicitly noted the press statement did not provide a timescale for the launch. ASE has framed the World Series of Pickleball as a long-term commercial platform aimed at sponsorship, premium production, hospitality programming, and integrated media distribution, but has not yet disclosed inaugural dates, prize-purse amounts, or confirmed venue details for the Las Vegas launch.
