Carvana PPA Tour unveils 2026-2027 schedule, includes World Championships, PPA Finals
Connor Pardoe called the 2026-2027 season proof that pickleball has "arrived on the professional sports stage" as the PPA published a global calendar with a U.S. slate of 20 events and 25+ international stops.

Connor Pardoe framed the Carvana PPA Tour's new calendar as proof of the sport's professional arrival when the PPA on Feb. 24 published the full 2026-2027 season schedule. The press release highlighted the return of centerpiece events, the Pickleball World Championships in Dallas and the PPA Finals in San Clemente, and promised expanded U.S. and international play under a single PPA umbrella.
The season will open Aug. 31 with the Veolia Pickleball National Championships in a yet-to-be-announced “pickleball-obsessed” city, and close with the PPA Finals in San Clemente. The PPA press release identifies San Clemente as Finals host; a PPA Instagram post accompanying the announcement lists the PPA Finals dates as May 10–16. Jeff Watson’s press text carried Pardoe’s line that “The Carvana PPA Tour has seen incredible growth since our founding in 2019, and this streamlined season is further evidence of the arrival of pickleball on the professional sports stage.”
The domestic calendar will consist of 20 U.S. tournaments described as spanning coast to coast, adding new stops in Chicago and Malibu alongside established markets such as Las Vegas, Dallas and Mesa. Multiple outlets noted that certain U.S. PPA Tour events will be worth 1,000+ ranking points, signaling high-stakes opportunities for pros who target major-event points and prize money.
International expansion is the largest change on the schedule: the PPA plans more than 25 international events across PPA Asia, PPA Australia, PPA Canada and PPA Italy. Named international stops include Kuala Lumpur, Brisbane and Hong Kong. PPA Canada and PPA Italy will host PPA 125 and PPA 250 events in Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto, and in Portorož (Slovenia) and Brescia, with additional cities to be announced. Coverage of the PPA Asia circuit noted it will “feature the most ranking points up for grabs for pros in its history.”

Prize money and pathway mechanics were spotlighted in the release. PPA Australia will stage a record-setting Australian Pickleball Open with a $500,000 prize pool, and the announcement reiterated that points earned at any tournament under the PPA umbrella count toward a unified global ranking. The PPA also positioned PPA Challenger events as part of the pathway for aspiring pros, and said the 2026-2027 global season “begins as soon as the 2026 PPA Finals conclude,” giving players immediate international opportunities after the domestic run.
The press release and accompanying social post carried Pardoe’s longer takeaway: “The 2026-2027 season will provide unbelievable excitement as we continue to build on the legacy and prestige of mainstay tournaments such as the Pickleball World Championships and the PPA Finals, while adding incredible new U.S. tour stops in Chicago and Malibu, plus running our most robust international schedule yet with more than 25 international events across PPA Asia, Australia, Canada and Italy. There is opportunity for every pro and aspiring pro to compete and earn their way onto the biggest stage of pro pickleball.” For the full, up-to-date event list and future venue announcements, including the Veolia Nationals host city and any additional prize or point breakdowns, consult the PPA’s official schedule materials.
