New 15-Court Indoor Pickleball Club Opens at Holyoke Mall

Pickleball Kingdom launched its first Massachusetts location at Holyoke Mall, 50 Holyoke St., opening a 15-court indoor club that held a ribbon-cutting and free open-play weekend on Dec. 20-21. The new facility is designed to keep players on the courts regardless of weather, combining recreational space and retail in a mall setting to create a centralized spot for lessons, leagues and local tournaments.

The club’s courts are equipped with TVs at each court for live scoring and instant replay, a feature that organizers highlight for both live events and coaching. A pro shop area on site will carry paddles and apparel, and programming includes Pickleball 101 beginner classes and private coaching sessions. Pickleball X President Sheehan Lake and company representatives emphasized the advantages of indoor play, noting the elimination of wind, sun and rain as factors that make scheduling and skill development more consistent.
