Pickleball Kingdom's Plano club came back to life under new local franchise ownership, with Rajesh Byldugula and Suresh Reddy stepping in to lead the 44,407-square-foot facility at 1301 Custer Road, Suite 200. The club, which had been temporarily closed during the ownership transition, was set to welcome players back on the courts in late March 2026, with a multi-day launch event that included an exclusive preview for early members followed by free public access sessions.

The facility's 15 professional-grade indoor courts are engineered with outdoor-style surfaces designed to deliver consistent playing conditions year-round. Beyond open play, the club's programming covers professional coaching and clinics spanning beginner through advanced levels, youth programs, leagues, tournaments, and private and corporate events.

Byldugula, who brings more than two decades of experience in IT solutions and real estate development, framed the transition as a chance to reconnect with an existing player base. "Pickleball Kingdom in Plano has a strong community of players who care deeply about this space and about each other," he said. "We are excited to step in, listen and build a club that feels welcoming, well-run and enjoyable for everyone who walks through the doors."

Reddy, whose background includes over 16 years as a software engineer alongside experience building a food business and investing in commercial properties and sports facilities across Texas, echoed that community-first approach. "Pickleball Kingdom is more than just courts," Reddy said. "It is a place where people come to stay active, meet friends and unwind. Member feedback matters to us, and we will continue improving so that Pickleball Kingdom is a place you are excited to be part of, not just today, but for years to come."

Ace Rodrigues, founder and CEO of Pickleball Kingdom, which describes itself as the world's largest indoor pickleball entity, connected the ownership change to a broader commitment to the Plano market. "We are proud to move forward in Plano and open the doors to an elevated Pickleball Kingdom experience," Rodrigues said. "This community has always had incredible energy and enthusiasm for the sport. With stronger local ownership and an enhanced member experience, Pickleball Kingdom is committed to delivering the excellence, professionalism, and community focus that the community deserves."

Rob Streett, President and Chief Global Officer of Pickleball Kingdom, added that the incoming leadership intends to rebuild a strong community and raise operational standards at the site.
