Pickleplex Opens Eight‑Court Indoor Pickleball Hub Serving Aurora, Newmarket and Richmond Hill
Pickleplex Social Club Aurora opened an eight-court indoor pickleball hub at 340 Addison Hall Circle with party rooms, a pro shop, showers and a grand opening on Feb. 13.

Pickleplex Social Club Aurora opened an eight-court indoor pickleball facility at 340 Addison Hall Circle, Unit 2 in Aurora, featuring the Aurora Smash Room party space, lounge areas, an on-site pro shop, private and accessible change rooms, washrooms and showers. Mayor Tom Mrakas attended the grand opening on Feb. 13 and presented a congratulations certificate to owner Asif Alidina, saying, “That’s eight courts ready for action that will bring people together, promote active living, and strengthen our community connections,” and “Businesses like this make Aurora an even better place to live, play, and stay active.”
Owner Asif Alidina, who moved to Canada from the U.K. and lives in the Richmond Hill area, framed the venue as community-first at the opening. Alidina said, “Residents here are super active and believe in socializing. They didn’t really have a dedicated facility like this to play, be active and connect. That’s what we brought.” He added, “I’m most excited about the community spirit, the competitiveness, and getting everybody together, the social aspect of it.”
The launch included industry and supplier partners. Tom Lin, owner of NextGen Pickleball Paddle, was on hand as a partner and confirmed his company will provide equipment for the club. Lin said, “It’s a needed facility for so many players,” and “It’s beneficial for physical health, but also mental well‑being, people can come, socialize, network and have fun.”
Facility listings and the Pickleplex site describe the courts and technical setup: eight indoor courts with a hard playing surface, lighting for evening play, and a private facility designation. Globalpickleball Network lists the site as having court/member fees and records “Matches played here: 0,” reflecting the new listing. Sample programming posted on the facility calendar includes Tuesday night Open Play at 7:00 PM, a Sunday Afternoon Novice Ladder League from 4:00-6:00 PM, an ADL Double Ladder on Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 PM, plus GVO Leagues, a Recreational Pickleball Challenge Cup and Ladies Double Ladder League entries.

Pickleplex Social Club’s corporate site lists membership tiers and opening specials: PICKLEPRIME is $129.99 per month (monthly, annual commitment) and PICKLEFLEX is $89.99 per month (monthly, annual commitment), with an Hourly Play Membership listed as FREE and “Open to the public.” The site offers a “pay upfront and get 1 month FREE!” promotion for named tiers, and AuroraToday noted opening multi-pass specials of a 20-pack for $280 and a 10-pack for $170.
