PickleRage Hosts Two-Day Grand Opening in North Charleston March 6-7
PickleRage opens its North Charleston club at 5101 Ashley Phosphate Road with a two-day grand opening March 6-7, featuring 10 open-play courts plus three clinic/challenge courts on March 7.

PickleRage will hold a two-day grand-opening celebration March 6-7 at its new North Charleston club, located at 5101 Ashley Phosphate Road, with Saturday, March 7 scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. of expanded open play across 10 courts and three designated challenge and clinic courts. The event program includes a ribbon-cutting, community programming and opportunities for players to move between casual games, structured challenges and clinics throughout the morning.
The company’s announcement says the North Charleston location "is now open and welcoming members and guests." David Smith, COO of PickleRage, thanked local players and framed the weekend as a community celebration: "We've been encouraged by the response from players since opening in North Charleston, and this grand opening is a great opportunity to celebrate with the broader community. We appreciate the support we've seen so far and look forward to continuing to serve players throughout the area."
Facility details reported by SGB Media Online put the club at 40,195 square feet and list 13 temperature-controlled indoor CushionX courts, a pro shop offering equipment and apparel, and advanced tech solutions for booking court times, check-ins, programs, lessons and clinics. SGB places the club inside Festival Centre, a nearly 330,000-square-foot shopping center that PickleRage executives say will help drive foot traffic.
SGB quoted Chris Daiss, PickleRage’s vice president of real estate and construction: "North Charleston is an ideal market for PickleRage. Festival Centre’s high traffic and central location make it the perfect spot to introduce our state-of-the-art facility. The growing enthusiasm for pickleball in the community aligns perfectly with our mission to provide a world-class playing experience for all skill levels."

The event roster released by PickleRage lists year-round programming at the club including open play, clinics, leagues and events for beginners, recreational players and competitive athletes. The grand-opening weekend will specifically stage a mix of competitive and instructional play, with challenge courts and clinic courts set alongside open-play courts.
Timing claims vary across outlets. PickleRage’s announcement positions the March 6-7 celebration as the public grand opening while also stating the club is already welcoming members and guests. SGB Media separately had reported the club would open in Q3 of 2025, and an InvestorsHangout commentary described the expansion as having "kicked off with a splash" on February 18, 2026. Those differing timelines remain unresolved in the distributed materials.
The company framed the opening as part of its Southeast expansion, and the press rollout was widely republished; one republisher noted the text was a paid press release. Players and local organizers interested in the March weekend should arrive at 5101 Ashley Phosphate Road and expect the March 7 10 a.m.–1 p.m. session to operate across the 10 open-play courts and three clinic/challenge courts described in the event materials.
