Northern Westchester's pickleball scene got a significant upgrade when SPORTIME Pickleball Armonk swung open its doors at 112 Business Park Drive on Sunday, March 15. The 11-court, climate-controlled facility is the latest move in an aggressive Tri-state expansion by SPORTIME Pickleball, a division of SPORTIME Clubs, which has now opened five new clubs in roughly a year.

The Armonk facility brings SPORTIME's Westchester presence to 27 dedicated indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, adding to existing locations in Yorktown Heights, Mamaroneck, and Eastchester. The four clubs that preceded Armonk over the past twelve months were in Englewood, New Jersey; Westbury, New York; Wayne, New Jersey; and Yorktown Heights, New York. "Our Armonk and Yorktown Heights locations, along with our other clubs, are creating a foundation that will serve players for decades to come," said Okin in the press release. "SPORTIME Pickleball is dedicated to providing players with year-round access to outstanding facilities and programming. As in tennis, SPORTIME is committed to creating the Tri-state area's most comprehensive pickleball network."

On the court side, the facility features pro-cushioned surfaces and reflective lighting, with courtside viewing areas, modern player facilities, and two dedicated party rooms for events. Programming covers the full spectrum: recreational open play, competitive leagues, clinics, and beginner programs specifically designed for both adults and juniors. If you're just picking up a paddle or trying to sort out your third-shot drop, there's apparently an entry point here for you.

Two seasoned operators are running the show. General Manager Kylene Murray is a former WTA Tour tennis player and top-ranked collegiate athlete who most recently worked as operations manager and pickleball director at SPORTIME Randall's Island. Pickleball Director Jonny Fintak brings a track record as a longtime tennis and pickleball coach, previously holding the pickleball director role at both SPORTIME Lake Isle and SPORTIME Harbor Island. That's a serious amount of court time between the two of them.

The location is no accident strategically. Armonk sits close to the Connecticut border, and SPORTIME officials have said directly that the club is designed to pull players from both Westchester and nearby Fairfield County. Plans also include community outreach, with the facility intended to explore partnerships with local schools and organizations and to serve as a hub for family-friendly programming.

SPORTIME ran a Grand Opening Week from March 10 through 14 with special program previews leading into the official opening day, giving prospective members an early look at what clinics, leagues, and coaching sessions would actually feel like before committing. The club is at 112 Business Park Drive in Armonk, New York.
