Lush launches Cold bath bomb with eucalyptus and peppermint to clear noses
Lush has released Cold, a swirling green-and-white bath bomb with eucalyptus and peppermint to help relieve clogged airways, the first in a new 'Bathe To Feel Better' range.

Ever had such a bad cold, you wanted to bathe in a tub of menthol balm? Lush’s new Cold bath bomb aims to do just that, offering a steamy, menthol-forward soak to help clear blocked noses and irritated airways. The product is the first in a new Bathe To Feel Better range that Lush says will target specific needs customers are seeking to remedy and will roll out across 2026.
Cold arrives as a swirling green and white bath bomb paired with a Fair Trade organic cocoa butter melt. The duo can be used in a few ways: drop the bomb into the bath for a scent-forward soak, rub the cocoa butter melt on the chest, or melt the butter in hot water and inhale the vapours to alleviate aggravated airways. Lush positions the set as a sensorial, practical tool for seasonal colds and head congestion rather than a medical treatment.
The scent profile is built around eucalyptus and peppermint oils, which Lush describes as “thought to cool and clear.” Wintergreen oil is also present and is noted to contain 98% methyl salicylate, “a substance closely related to aspirin, and known to have similar analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.” The formula is further scented with lemongrass oil purchased from a smallhold farm in Eastern India “which tries to preserve traditions and a balance of ecosystems through agricultural practices.”
The product was developed by Lush perfumer Alina alongside research and development compounder Mirek. Mirek summarised the collaboration bluntly: “It is Alina’s product idea and I made it a reality; let’s say it was a team effort.” The launch is framed within Lush’s wider brand ethos: “We believe in happy people making happy soap, putting our faces on our products and making our mums proud.”
For community makers and bath-ritual fans, Cold offers a familiar toolbox: strong menthol notes, a chest balm option, and an emphasis on ethically sourced touches like Fair Trade cocoa butter and smallhold lemongrass. Practical shoppers should note Lush’s language hedges ingredient benefits as “thought to” and provides a chemical description of wintergreen rather than claiming clinical efficacy. The company also notes media assets are available here for press use.
Missing details remain important for purchasing decisions: Lush has said the range will launch across 2026 but has not published exact release dates, prices, market rollout or a full ingredient list and safety guidance for inhalation or topical use. Check Lush’s press or store channels for availability and images as the Bathe To Feel Better range arrives; for now, Cold signals a clear shift toward targeted, wellbeing-focused bath products and gives fans a menthol-packed option when the sniffles strike.
