A bath bomb shaped around Eid al-Adha is carrying more than fragrance into Lush’s 2026 range. It was developed through a Muslim focus group, then refined by a Portsmouth worker whose path ran from the shop floor to the company’s global Co-Create programme.

Andreea Marin, who moved to Portsmouth from Romania five years ago to study, has spent the past three years at Lush in Cascades Shopping Centre. She started as a seasonal sales assistant, became a trainee manager and then moved into Co-Create, the company’s product-creation internship for staff that is designed to promote diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging by lifting up authentic stories from the communities being represented. Her work has now produced two products in Lush’s 2026 Eid al-Adha collection.

The standout for bath bomb fans is Siraj, a deep blue-and-gold bomb scented with sticky dates fragrance. Lush says it is a smaller-than-average bath bomb, but still "mighty in fragrance." It was invented by Andreea Marin after she took part in a Muslim focus group as part of Co-Create, and Lush says the product is meant to help bathers "relax, reflect and embrace your blessings." The design does more than look festive: the rich blue and gold palette gives the bomb a ceremonial feel, while the dates note ties the scent back to a recognisable part of Eid season and the sense of gratitude built into the holiday.

Marin also helped create Hayl, a shimmering massage bar that brings in uplifting orange oil and warming cardamom. Lush says the cardamom reference draws on Arabic coffee, desserts and sweet dishes served when hosting guests or celebrating, while the bubbly shape takes cues from candle and soap designs. For makers, that is the key lesson in the range: scent, colour and form can carry cultural meaning without turning symbolic details into decoration for its own sake.

Lush says the full 2026 Eid al-Adha collection will launch first in Lush Club on 14 April 2026, then in stores and online globally on 16 April 2026. In the UK, Eid al-Adha is expected to begin on Tuesday 26 May 2026 and end on Saturday 30 May 2026, depending on the moon sighting, giving the range a clear seasonal runway for gifting and personal treats ahead of the holiday. The Portsmouth shop is at Unit 1, Cascades Shopping Centre, Commercial Road, Portsmouth PO1 4RL, where the story behind Siraj began on the shop floor and ended in a global release.
