Call of Duty Season 3 Week 8 challenges unlock Ryden 45K Sweeper Rig
Week 8’s cleanest unlock path is six quick challenges, and the reward is a semi-auto Ryden 45K conversion that changes close-range fights.

Season 3 Week 8 went live with a real payoff, not a filler grind: finish any six challenges and the Ryden 45K Sweeper Rig drops with 10,000 XP. That attachment matters because it converts the Ryden 45K, a full-auto submachine gun with balanced CQB power, handling and recoil, into a semi-auto weapon that fires rounds that break apart in flight and deal extra damage when the fragments connect. If you are deciding whether to push it before the week rolls over, the answer is yes. This is a weapon-shaping unlock, not a cosmetic detour.
For the fastest route, stay in Multiplayer first and clear the tasks that line up with normal play instead of chasing the 300-elimination slog. The six I would take first are the positive kill-death match objective, score farming in Freeze Tag, kills with lethals or tacticals, Bloodthirsty medals with an SMG, melee weapons and finishing moves, and then the Warzone zombie objective in Black Ops Royale if you want to avoid the longer weapon grind. The 300 eliminations with Season 03 weapons is the longest pole in the set, so it makes more sense as the last box to tick than the opening move. A simple SMG build, a lethal-heavy class, and a melee setup for tight maps will clear more of this board faster than trying to brute-force everything with one general-purpose loadout.

Black Ops Royale is the smartest Warzone detour because Call of Duty built it as an original Blackout-inspired battle royale with no Loadouts, no Gulag and no Buy Stations. That stripped-down structure makes the zombie no-reload challenge easier to push while you are already moving through the map, and it keeps the Guild Robot lethal or launcher task from turning into a full economy match. Season 03 Reloaded, which arrived April 30 at 9AM PT and brought in Hot Pursuit, Prop Hunt Royale and Black Ops Royale, is clearly steering players into a tighter playlist rotation, and Week 8 follows that same script.
The grind is not instant, but it is not a marathon if you pick the right six. Expect a focused evening, or two shorter sessions, if you skip the 300-kill drag and lean on the lower-friction objectives that pay 2,500 XP to 5,000 XP apiece. That is the real Week 8 call: bank the easy wins now, because the Ryden 45K Sweeper Rig is the kind of attachment that changes how the gun feels the moment it lands in your class.
