CDL shares IMAGINE bracket, Major III matchups could be set today
OpTic Texas sits on top, but the May 8 to May 10 slate still has enough weight to flip the Major III draw before Atlanta.

The Call of Duty League’s IMAGINE bracket turns the Major III race into a simple question: who holds position when the qualifiers close on May 10? OpTic Texas sits first in the official Major 3 qualifier standings, with FaZe Vegas, Los Angeles Thieves, Paris Gentle Mates and Toronto KOI chasing behind them, and that front-loaded order gives the top seeds the cleanest path into Atlanta.
What stands out is how fragile the middle of the board still looks. Vancouver Surge, Miami Heretics and Riyadh Falcons are stacked close enough that one result can change who gets the tougher opening matchup, while Carolina Royal Ravens, G2 Minnesota, Boston Breach and Cloud9 New York are still fighting to keep themselves from dropping into the wrong side of the bracket. The graphic is not just hype art. It is a snapshot of real seeding pressure with three qualifier days left and the Major III tournament set for May 15-17 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The most volatile matches are still on deck. Toronto KOI face Vancouver Surge on May 8, then Carolina Royal Ravens meet Los Angeles Thieves, FaZe Vegas draw OpTic Texas, Boston Breach play G2 Minnesota and Cloud9 New York take on Riyadh Falcons on May 9. May 10 is just as loaded, with Miami Heretics against Paris Gentle Mates, G2 Minnesota against Los Angeles Thieves, and Cloud9 New York against Toronto KOI. If Los Angeles Thieves take care of business, they protect a top-three position; if FaZe Vegas clip OpTic Texas, they can scramble the top end of the field and make the bracket far less comfortable for the No. 1 seed.

That is why the current standings matter so much. OpTic Texas benefits from holding first, FaZe Vegas and Los Angeles Thieves benefit from staying in striking distance, and Toronto KOI and Vancouver Surge have the clearest chance to change the shape of the opening round with one strong result. A late surge from Miami Heretics or Riyadh Falcons would be just as valuable, because it could drag a higher seed into a worse first matchup and make the lower half of the field much harder to predict.
The timing only adds to the pressure. Major III qualifiers run from April 17 through May 10, the Major 3 Pick’Em promotion is already live, and the offline event in Atlanta will feature 16 teams total, 12 CDL teams and four Challengers squads, with $365,000 on the line. The league once staged Major III in Arlington, Texas, but this bracket points to a different battlefield now: DreamHack Atlanta and the Georgia World Congress Center, where the final shape of the field will be set.
