Aquila Catamarans will stage its biggest Australian showcase yet at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, where Whitehaven Marine will present seven models from May 21 to May 24 on the Gold Coast. The line-up is being billed as the brand’s “biggest Aquila display ever assembled on Australian shores,” and that scale says Australia is no longer just another stop on the circuit for the power-cat builder.

The display will let buyers move across Aquila’s range in one place, from the 32 Sport through the 42 Yacht, 50 Yacht and 54 Yacht. Three models will make their Australian debut at Sanctuary Cove: the Aquila 42 Coupe, the 46 Yacht and the 50 Sail. The 50 Sail launched globally at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2026, so Sanctuary Cove will serve as its Asia-Pacific regional premiere.

That matters because Sanctuary Cove is not a small regional meet. The 2026 show will be the 37th year of the event and is expected to feature more than 300 exhibitors, 800-plus vessels and more than 2,500 marine products and accessories. For catamaran buyers, that kind of on-water density turns the show into a side-by-side comparison exercise, with enough room to judge how Aquila’s sport, yacht and sailing platforms differ in layout, finish and cruising focus.

Whitehaven Marine’s role gives the presentation extra weight. Aquila identifies the company as its official dealer for Australia and New Zealand, and Aquila says it has more than 100 dealers worldwide. That dealer network is doing more than moving boats; it is shaping how the brand is introduced to buyers who want local guidance, not just brochures and photographs. At Sanctuary Cove, Whitehaven Marine will be the face of that pitch, translating the range for a market that prizes practical cruising, family comfort and the efficiency that makes multihulls such a strong fit for Australian waters.

For Aquila, the message is bigger than a single show stand. Seven models, three Australian premieres and a debut sailing cat on one of the country’s most established boating stages add up to a clear statement of confidence. If the brand wants a louder local footprint in 2026, Sanctuary Cove is where it has chosen to make the case.
