Aquila Catamarans will present two world premieres at the Miami International Boat Show, February 11–15, 2026: the Aquila 50 Sail, the company’s first sailing catamaran, and the Aquila 45 Sport, the largest model in the Sport range. The launches are part of an eight-boat Aquila display that spans the Yacht, Coupe and Molokai lines and aims to serve owners, charter operators, and day-boat buyers seeking speed, social spaces, and flexible layouts.

The Aquila 50 Sail will be docked at Sailors Cove, IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami (Dock E) and brings sailing to a brand known for performance powercats. The 50 Sail offers a fixed bow entertaining area, bridge-to-bow access and multiple interior plans with 4-cabin, 5-cabin or 6-cabin configurations, each cabin with a private entrance. Propulsion is offered as conventional diesel or with Aquila’s Hybrid Ocean Drive option, giving buyers a choice between proven diesel range and a hybrid alternative. Tours of the 50 Sail can be booked through Aquila’s Miami boat show page.

The Aquila 45 Sport debuts as a high-performance social platform aimed at day charters, dive outings, weekend getaways and owner-operators who prize speed and a roomy cockpit. Aquilaboats markets the 45 Sport as inspired by contemporary luxury SUVs with sharp, sleek styling and hull technology described both as double-stepped hulls on the manufacturer pages and as twin-stepped hulls in coverage. Aquila’s performance claims place top speeds above 50 mph with efficient cruising between 38 and 40 mph.

Social and helm features center the 45 Sport’s aft cockpit, which uses fold-down terraces or flip-down gunwales to extend the usable beam close to the water. Aquilaboats calls this an “unmatched 19-foot social space” with convertible U-shaped seating and a manual high/low table; another outlet reports the fold-down terraces expand the beam to nearly 5.8 metres. The helm seats four with flush-mounted 16-inch displays and first-in-class connectivity that “puts full control at your fingertips, manage underwater lighting, multi-color LED accents, C-Zone systems, Raymarine navigation, Mercury engines, and Fusion stereo directly from your smart device,” per Aquilaboats marketing. Below deck the design focuses on a king-size berth and private head, with an optional advanced lithium battery system for off-grid air conditioning.

Jean Raas, chief product officer at Aquila Catamarans and CEO of Aquila USA, said: “This is an exciting show for us with two very unique launches. The Aquila DNA of innovation, strength, and quality runs throughout the 50 Sail and 45 Sport, and we look forward to welcoming everyone on board these models for an exclusive first look. With eight vessels on display at this year’s show, we’re displaying a truly versatile portfolio to meet the distinct lifestyles and expectations of today’s boaters.”

Aquila will show seven power models at Dock IC 511 A–F in the Miami Beach Yacht Collection while the 50 Sail has the specified berth at Dock E in Sailors Cove. Confirm the exact berth for the 45 Sport on Aquila’s Miami boat show page before planning a visit, and reserve previews or private viewings there to guarantee a walkthrough. For buyers and charter operators, the two premieres pack practical value: the 50 Sail adds a sailing option to Aquila’s portfolio and the 45 Sport stretches social beam and speed for day-boat and charter markets. Expect dockside previews, specification debates and early booking interest to shape the season ahead.
