HEMISPHERE arrived at the Palm Beach International Boat Show already holding a title: largest catamaran charter attending a fleet of more than 100 superyachts assembled along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach. The 145ft (44.2m) yacht officially joined the lineup for the show, making her name as the largest catamaran charter attending.

Described as one of the world's largest luxury catamarans, HEMISPHERE's interiors, penned by Michael Leach, make the breadth of space a catamaran offers genuinely felt. The main social areas, dominated by plush seating areas and a formal dining setup, make full use of the beam. The spaces read as bright and airy, a result of the large windows running the width of the hull. The accommodation layout comprises five cabins for up to 12 sleeping charter guests, including a pair of VIPs, two double cabins, and a spacious twin. Long holding the title of the world's largest sailing catamaran, HEMISPHERE was designed for adventurous exploration and exceptional watersports, and her impressive 16.6-meter beam creates deck spaces rivalling those of a 70-metre yacht.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show marks the second US-based yacht show of 2026, with this year's attending fleet already standing at more than 100 superyachts for sale and charter. Owned by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and produced by Informa Markets, the show takes place along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, directly across the Intracoastal Waterway from Palm Beach Island. The event has been extended to five full days for 2026, with organizers citing record-breaking attendance as the reason for the expansion.

The catamaran presence runs deep beyond HEMISPHERE. The Aquila 45 Sport made its official first public appearance at the show after transport delays caused by adverse weather conditions pushed its planned Miami debut to Palm Beach, where it is on display at the MarineMax dock. It is the largest model in Aquila's Sport range, powered by twin Mercury Verado V12 600HP outboards, capable of a top speed above 50mph, and features a 19-foot social deck that unfolds at the push of a button.

Leopard Catamarans brought a full cross-section of its lineup. The event offers opportunities to explore some of the latest and most innovative yachts and merchandise on the market. The Leopard 46 PC and the newly refreshed Leopard 53 PC are on display at the main show footprint, while the Leopard 46 and Leopard 52 sailing catamarans are berthed at Harbour Towne Marina for the duration of the event, with appointments available for private tours.

The broader premiere slate confirms PBIBS's standing as a serious launch venue this season. The Numarine 40MXP is making its world premiere, the Sirena 60 is having its US show debut, the Galeon Yachts 520 FLY is making its global debut, and the Westport W135 is receiving its world debut, alongside the charter and brokerage fleet stretching along the Intracoastal. Since 1982, the Palm Beach International Boat Show has drawn more than 55,000 visitors and generated $1.05 billion in statewide economic impact. This year's edition features over $1.2 billion worth of yachts and accessories, including hundreds of boats ranging from 8-foot inflatables to superyachts nearly 300 feet in length.

HEMISPHERE was built in 2011 and refitted in 2023 at Pendennis Shipyard in the United Kingdom, with a charter rate starting from USD 260,000 per week. For a vessel that long held the title of the world's largest sailing catamaran, a Palm Beach show debut in front of the global yachting industry feels like an appropriate stage.
