Antalya shipyard U4 Marine has widened its orderbook with three new contracts, led by a 24-metre all-aluminium motor catamaran that pushes the yard deeper into the custom multihull market. The new projects, identified as U4801C, U4821 and U4721, also include a 24-metre motor yacht and a 22-metre motor yacht, with delivery slated no later than the end of 2028. U4 Marine said the exterior and interior renderings, along with technical specifications, will follow later, but the contract mix already shows where the yard is positioning itself: larger custom builds, longer production horizons and a stronger foothold in the multihull space.

That matters because U4 Marine is not making the announcement from a standing start. Founded in 2015 and based in Antalya’s Free Zone and harbor area, the yard is also pushing ahead with Project NB110, a 32-metre full-carbon cruising catamaran under construction in Antalya. The boat has been described as the yard’s first fully in-house project, from naval architecture through interior design, and earlier reporting placed it with a South African customer. NB110 has also been linked to Greg Young Design for its exterior design and naval architecture, with a sporty profile that includes a flybridge, solar panels and hybrid drive.

The carbon catamaran is being built using a three-shot infusion process for the hull and superstructure, a method aimed at tightening the resin-to-fibre ratio and keeping weight under control. It is expected to exceed 20 knots and is fitted with a 40.5-metre rotating mast and furling boom. Delivery has been described in the market as May 2026, summer 2026 and, more recently, late-summer delivery, which underlines how close U4 Marine is to turning a headline project into a finished yacht.

For buyers, the strategic read is sharper than a simple contract tally. The 24-metre all-aluminium motor catamaran points to demand for durable, efficient multihulls with the volume and shallow-water advantages that have helped make 24-metre-plus cats increasingly popular. At the same time, NB110 shows U4 Marine can run a high-spec carbon build in parallel, with in-house design and advanced composite work. That combination raises Antalya’s profile as a serious delivery option for owners who want custom catamarans without going to the usual European yards, and it adds pressure in a segment where more buyers are looking for space, performance and build flexibility in the same package.
