Peet's Coffee kicked off its 60th anniversary year with a spring menu built around ube, matcha, lavender, and rose, rolling out the limited-time lineup nationwide on March 18 and running it through June 2 at participating Coffeebars.

The beverage roster is wide. The Iced Ube Matcha Latte with Cream Top leads the purple-hued charge, joined by a broader collection of ube lattes that Peet's describes as leaning into "the nutty, purple allure of ube." On the floral side, the menu added the Lavender Vanilla Latte, Lavender Sparkling Lemonade, Blushing Rose Matcha Latte, and Blushing Rose Sparkling Lemonade. A Matcha Pineapple Burst rounds out the matcha options, and a Rose limited-time offering is timed for the Mother's Day window. Kristina Roach, Sr. Director Marketing at Peet's, framed the collection plainly: "This spring, we're bringing together ube, matcha, and lavender in ways that feel both innovative and unmistakably Peet's. It's a collection rooted in quality and craftsmanship, designed to deliver bold flavor, beautiful presentation, and a truly craveable beverage experience."

The coffee-filled Popping Pearls are back as well, what Peet's is calling a return "by POPular demand." Made with real coffee, they're designed as a customizable add-on for matcha, espresso drinks, or cold brew. On the food side, the Elote Taco debuts as a new seasonal bite, the Almond Croissant returns, and the Roasted Tomato Focaccia Sandwich is new to the lineup.

The 60th anniversary angle isn't just backdrop. Peet's Anniversary Blend, honoring the legacy Alfred Peet started in Berkeley in 1966, returns beginning April 1.

The promotional calendar has some genuinely useful dates built in. From March 21 through 23, Peetnik members can buy one of the new floral sips and get a second at 50% off. National Cold Brew Day runs April 18 through 20, with $3 Coconut Water Cold Brews and the Baridi Cold Brew Coffee on offer. Teachers with an Educator ID can get a free small drip coffee or cold brew on May 6. And from May 18 through 31, Peetnik Perks members can pair a medium latte with a warm food item for $9.

One open question the menu launch surfaced: on Peet's LinkedIn post announcing the spring lineup, a consumer asked whether the Popping Pearls are vegan-friendly and whether they're sweetened with brown sugar or honey. Peet's has not answered publicly in the thread. If that detail matters to how you order, it's worth asking at the counter before the pearls go in.
