Vixxo launches café service platform to connect technicians and operators

Vixxo Facility Solutions launched Vixxo Cafe Solutions on July 15 in Dallas, Phoenix and Denver, rolling out an AI-enabled coffee equipment repair platform. The new service is aimed at cafe owners, operators and coffee-focused businesses that need a faster path from breakdown to fix when the espresso machine, grinder, brewer or refrigeration unit quits in the middle of service.

A broken brewer does not just slow the bar, it changes the whole shift: menu items get cut, tickets stack up, and customers start seeing a shop that looks behind before the first rush has even cleared. The platform connects technicians more directly with operators, so service requests, dispatching and work orders move through one system instead of a patchwork of vendors and repair calls.

On Vixxo’s coffee page, the company says 1% of downtime per coffee machine can cost $10,000 to $12,000 annually. Even a short outage can force a stripped-down menu, slow the line and knock drink consistency off balance if the remaining equipment is pushed harder than usual.

Vixxo has spent nearly 20 years providing dedicated coffee equipment support to some of the largest operators, and Derek Neighbors said the company had years of experience running coffee service for major retailers and convenience operators but had not had a way to bring that performance to the mid-market.

Ordering, loyalty and scheduling already live in software, and equipment service is moving there too. For multi-unit brands, that can mean more visibility into recurring failures and maintenance costs across markets. For independents, it can mean less time hunting for the right tech and more time keeping the line moving.
