O'Fallon Cricket League posts tight July results and weekend fixtures

The O'Fallon Cricket League's CricClubs board listed VUL over MVK by 6 runs on July 21 and paired Monsoon Blues with Sunrisers for a July 25 morning slot at Ground North. The same page also showed LGN beating MST by 9 wickets in another July 21 result, giving the league board a full run of completed scores and upcoming fixtures in one place.

VUL's finish was tight enough to tell the story by itself: VUL made 78/6 and MVK closed on 72/6 after 14 overs. That kind of six-run margin is the sort of result local club cricket lives on, because one over, one dropped catch or one steadier chase can flip the table. MST's 58/9 in 13.0 of 14 overs, followed by LGN's 9-wicket win, added a second July 21 result that showed the same thing from the other direction, with one side controlling the chase cleanly.

The July 25 schedule was just as telling. Ground North carried Monsoon Blues against Sunrisers at 8:30 a.m., then another morning slot at 10:45 a.m., which means the league was stacking matches rather than treating cricket like a one-off pickup game. The T1 schedule page listed a season start date of 04/11/2026, and the league's CricClubs setup also carried separate schedule, results, batting records, bowling records, fielding records and player ranking sections. That is the kind of structure players and captains use to track form, not just final scores.

OFCL's Facebook page describes O'Fallon Cricket League as a registered non-profit organisation working toward sportsmanship for the cricket-loving community, and the board underneath it functions like an operating desk. With results, grounds and start times posted publicly, the league gives Missouri players and spectators a way to follow a season the same way they would follow any settled community circuit: by checking who played, where they played and how close the game really was.
