Stylecraft Launches Cotton Twist DK Yarn With Summer Crochet Patterns

Stylecraft has introduced Cotton Twist DK, a new summer-focused yarn blending 50% cotton with 50% premium acrylic, paired with a small collection of coordinating crochet patterns built around lightweight garments and trans-seasonal wear.

Each 100g ball delivers 210 metres (229 yards) at DK weight, with Stylecraft describing the yarn as "soft to the touch with an elegant drape" and positioned as "the perfect choice for light, breathable summer knits and crochet projects." Care is straightforward: machine wash at 30°C, cool tumble dry, dry clean if needed, and cool iron. The suggested hook size is 4mm, though full tension and gauge details have not yet been published.

The colour palette spans cool, calm pastels through to vibrant summer brights, giving plenty of options whether you're planning a breezy beach cover-up or a lightweight layering piece for shoulder-season wear. Stylecraft's own copy pitches each ball as bringing "a fresh, modern look to your warm-weather wardrobe, cool, comfortable, and effortlessly chic."

Two patterns have launched alongside the yarn, both marked as new releases. Pattern 10208 covers a Crochet Vest and Sweater, while pattern 10207 is a Crochet Sweaters collection. Both sit squarely in the wearables space, reinforcing the range's focus on garments rather than accessories or homewares. Stylecraft's site also points to a broader Cotton Twist pattern collection beyond these two codes, though the full list has not been enumerated publicly.

The launch was highlighted by a UK specialty retailer, though that retailer was not identified in materials available at the time of publication. Pricing and a confirmed retail availability date have also not been announced.
