Pepper, Sprague, Kerstetter, Domit earn Games tickets at Legends Championship
Pepper, Sprague, Kerstetter and Domit punched their San Jose tickets in Del Mar, where Legends handed out four individual Games invites and 28 masters berths.

Dallin Pepper and Olivia Kerstetter left Del Mar with the clearest prize in CrossFit: direct tickets to the 2026 Games in San Jose. Pepper won the men’s side with 485 points, James Sprague took second with 460, and on the women’s side Kerstetter finished first with 465 points as Abigail Domit claimed the second qualifying spot with 415.
That made the Legends Championship one of the weekend’s biggest season-shifting stops. CrossFit listed the event as an in-person Semifinal from April 24-26 in Del Mar, California, and the competition awarded four individual Games invites plus 28 Masters Games invites. For the age-group field, the weekend was just as consequential as the elite races, with the full roster of masters qualifiers now set for the season’s next stage.

The women’s leaderboard showed how narrow the margin was at the top. Kerstetter’s 465-point finish held off Domit, while Lydia Smith and Danielle Brandon stayed close enough to keep the podium race under pressure through the final workouts. On the men’s side, Pepper’s 485-point total put him ahead of Sprague and gave him one of the cleanest wins of the weekend. The two top finishers in each elite division earned the tickets that mattered most, and both fields delivered the kind of pressure that turns a Semifinal into a reset for the rest of the season.

The workout slate explained why. Legends tested athletes across five scored events, starting with a long bike-and-ski opener and moving through a chest-to-bar and sandbag-clean challenge, a deadlift-to-shoulder-to-overhead triplet, a bar muscle-up and overhead squat test, and a final chipper that mixed toes-to-bar, wall balls, box jump-overs, devil’s press and front-rack lunges. The event winners mattered because they revealed where the decisive separation happened, not just who survived the weekend.

For CrossFit fans tracking the path to San Jose, the result also sharpened the bigger 2026 picture. Legends sat in the middle of CrossFit’s in-person Semifinals slate alongside Mayhem Classic, Copa Sur, Far East Throwdown, Magic City Games, French Throwdown, Torian Pro, Rebel Renegade Games, Syndicate Crown, MAD Fitness Festival, Northern California Classic and LatAm Masters. With San Jose hosting the Games finals in July, Pepper, Sprague, Kerstetter and Domit now move from qualifying pressure to final-prep mode with their spots already secured.
