Puppy Yoga Classes Come to Hidden Cave Cidery in Middleton

Hidden Cave Cidery at 2500 Pleasant View Road in Middleton has established itself as the unlikely home of one of the area's most sought-after wellness events: a monthly Rescue Puppy Yoga series that pairs a slow-flow yoga session with a room full of adoptable dogs from Puppers to Love Rescue.

The sessions run every second Saturday of the month from 11:00 AM to noon, with dates confirmed through December 2026 on the Visit Middleton events calendar. Upcoming sessions fall on April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, November 14, and December 12. Tickets are $40 per person, and attendees must be 21 or older to participate.

Instructor Rachel Gunder, who holds a RYT-200 certification, leads each class in what the event describes as a slow flow format. Participation is flexible: follow along with the guided yoga sequence or simply settle in and spend the hour with the puppies. No yoga background is required, and neither is any prior experience handling dogs. Bring a mat or towel and nothing else is needed.

The puppies on the mat are not just there for ambiance. Puppers to Love Rescue, described as a foster-based organization, supplies adoptable dogs for each session. Rescue and adoption information is available after class, giving attendees a direct path to follow up on any four-legged connection made during the hour. Hidden Cave keeps the post-class social going with hard cider or non-alcoholic drinks at the bar.
