Saw Mill Club hosts puppy yoga fundraiser for SPCA of Briarcliff
Saw Mill Club’s Mt. Kisco puppy yoga class paired a Sunday noon workout with a $25 donation to the SPCA of Briarcliff.

Saw Mill Club turned puppy yoga into a simple local give-back: a Sunday, May 10 class at 12 p.m. in the SMCE Big Gym included a $25 donation to the SPCA of Briarcliff, with payment accepted by cash or check only.
The Mt. Kisco club said guests were welcome and encouraged participants to bring a friend, giving the event the feel of a community hangout as much as a workout. RSVP details were handled through Lauren Gannon, while the class itself was led by Mekea Fishlin, Saw Mill Club’s Yoga Director.
That setup gave the event a clear purpose beyond the novelty of stretching beside puppies. For anyone looking for a low-pressure way to spend the afternoon, the class blended movement, social time and direct support for local animals in one place. The SPCA connection made the fundraiser especially practical, since the donation went straight to an organization that has been caring for animals since 1883 and is based at 590 North State Road in Briarcliff Manor.

Saw Mill Club has also positioned the class inside a broader yoga program rather than as a stand-alone stunt. Its schedule includes Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga, AIReal Yoga Flow, Hatha-Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow and Strengthening Yoga, which puts puppy yoga alongside a regular wellness calendar with options for different experience levels.
The club also directed anyone with yoga questions to Mekea Fishlin at her Saw Mill Club email, underscoring that the puppy session was part of an established fitness lineup. Elsewhere in the region, SPCA Westchester listed a Mother’s Day Puppy Yoga event at Genesis Sport Club in Mt. Kisco for the same day, along with other spring puppy yoga appearances, showing how firmly the format has taken hold as a local fundraiser and community draw.
