Bloodlines cancels remaining tour dates after drummer's family death
Drummer Matthew lost a very dear family member, and Bloodlines pulled the final three dates of its run with Wolves At The Gate and Heal The Hurt.

Bloodlines cut short its run with Wolves At The Gate and Heal The Hurt after a sudden death in drummer Matthew’s family, pulling the support slot from the final three dates and stepping away from the road to be with relatives.
The band said it was informed on May 10 that a very dear family member to Matthew had passed suddenly. Bloodlines, a Texas Christian metalcore band, framed the decision in pastoral language, centering grief, prayer and gratitude while telling fans the group planned to return soon.

The cancellation landed at the end of Wolves At The Gate’s spring Out The Wasteland Tour, which the band announced on February 19, 2026 with Bloodlines and Heal The Hurt. The routing ran from May 2 through May 13, and the affected dates were the final three shows of the trek.
Public tour listings still showed Wolves At The Gate booked for The Canal Club in Richmond, Virginia, on May 12 and for Erie, Pennsylvania, on May 13. That helps pin down just how close the band came to the finish line before the family loss forced the change.
Wolves At The Gate also had a separate appearance at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, on May 10, so Bloodlines’ withdrawal affected the support-band portion of the run rather than Wolves At The Gate’s entire schedule. For drummers, it was another blunt reminder that a tour calendar can be rearranged in a single day by something far bigger than the stage.
