Evergreen Terrace Parts Ways With LP Parsons, Welcomes Back Brad Moxey
LP Parsons says he only found out he was being replaced by Brad Moxey when he texted Evergreen Terrace asking about rehearsals.

Longineu "LP" Parsons III learned he was no longer Evergreen Terrace's drummer the way nobody wants to find out: by reaching out to his own bandmates about rehearsals and getting a reply that said they were replacing him. The North Florida metalcore band parted ways with Parsons around March 17, 2026, reinstating Brad Moxey, the drummer who had left the group in 2022 stating he was "quitting music."
Parsons, the founding drummer of Yellowcard who had been with Evergreen Terrace since July 2022, posted a statement to social media detailing the circumstances. "Early in March I reached out to my bandmates about when we were getting together again for rehearsals and I was surprised with a return message stating that the former drummer Brad had asked if he could join back up and they were replacing me," he wrote. "This is a very bizarre and saddening situation for me since ET has become a very important part of my story in my musical career."
Parsons, born February 16, 1980 in Paris and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, described the split as an "abrupt decision" and said he remained unclear about the reasons behind it. Despite that, his statement closed with goodwill toward both the band and Moxey. "Whatever the reasons are for this abrupt decision I hope they can be fixed in the future and I will always leave the window open to ET," he wrote. "Brad is an amazing drummer and stellar dude and I wish him the best of luck."
The 46-year-old also put his four years with Evergreen Terrace in the context of a career that included playing arenas with Yellowcard and winning a Moon Man award, but said none of it compared to "the camaraderie and long van rides" with ET members Craig, Andrew, Jason, and Alex.

As of reporting, Evergreen Terrace had not issued any public statement confirming the change or addressing the circumstances of Parsons' exit. No comment from Moxey had surfaced either. The silence stands in contrast to Parsons' candid account, which framed the whole thing as a decision made without his knowledge and communicated without warning.
Moxey's return is striking given that he departed Evergreen Terrace in 2022 citing a desire to quit music entirely, the same year Parsons came aboard to replace him. Parsons, meanwhile, has kept active outside ET through KRASH PARTY, a pop-punk and alternative project based in St. Augustine, Florida, that he formed in 2023 alongside vocalist Shannon Fitz, bassist Mark Mchone, and guitarist Aaron Grove.
