The 2026 Diamine InkVent Calendar Burgundy Edition will arrive in October at $130, and it keeps the format that made the series a December staple for fountain pen fans: 25 days of surprises, 24 x 12 ml bottles, one 30 ml bottle behind the final door, plus swatch cards and a 26th door with a collectible.

The Burgundy theme gives repeat buyers a fresh color lane to chase, with deep reds, wine tones and related warm shades likely to do most of the work. Just as important, the calendar is described as containing only new-to-market inks, which cuts down on duplicate fatigue for anyone who has already been through earlier InkVent runs and wants a genuinely new set to sample, swatch and compare.

That discovery angle still sits at the center of InkVent’s appeal. Diamine describes itself as a UK-based manufacturer “crafted in-house since 1864,” and the brand has used that long production history to build a holiday product that feels both collectible and practical. The 2025 Teal Edition was promoted with a broad mix of standard, sheen, extreme sheen, scented, shimmer, shimmer-and-sheen, chameleon, pigment, pigment shimmer and pigment chameleon inks, and that kind of range is exactly why the calendar keeps drawing in ink users who like to test behavior as much as color.

The swatch cards and mixed bottle sizes make the 2026 set feel more like an organized ink experiment than a simple gift box.
