Costumes, card games, and a live auction stocked with Four Corners experiences await ticket holders when the Moab Museum opens the doors at Hoodoo Moab this Thursday, March 26, at 5 p.m. for its fourth annual fundraising gala.

The event, billed as "Moab's Most Glamorous," draws its theme from Robbers Roost, boomtown saloons, and Prohibition-era intrigue, promising a night where, in the museum's words, "Moab's early days come alive" with style, storytelling, and "a little mischief." It serves as the museum's primary fundraiser, with proceeds supporting exhibitions, educational programming, and the preservation of the region's natural and cultural history.

Tickets are $115 for general admission and $90 for museum members, available online through Eventbrite or in person at the museum. Seating has historically sold out, and the museum is urging advance purchase. Attendees should bring their ticket, printed or on a phone, for entry.

The live auction is the centerpiece of the evening, and the lineup leans hard into the landscapes and characters that define this corner of the Colorado Plateau. Twin Rocks Trading Post is providing a ballooning experience for two at the Bluff Balloon Festival, while Sheri Griffith River Expeditions and Living Rivers are offering an overnight Cataract Canyon rafting trip. Flintknapper Greg Nunn is donating a six-hour course in the ancient craft, and a stay at La Fonda Hotel on the Santa Fe Plaza rounds out the overnight escapes.

The auction goes further from there. Former Moab Museum Director John Foster is leading a paleontology excursion in Green River paired with Field House Museum passes. Cowgirl hall of famer Heidi Redd is offering an exclusive tour of Dugout Ranch along with lunch. A Canyon de Chelly tour comes with a stay at Thunderbird Lodge, and a Wild Utah Fly Fishing half-day tour includes a night along the Provo River. The museum has said additional items will be revealed the night of the event.

Businesses and community members looking to sponsor can choose from three tiers: a Table Sponsorship at $1,000 seats eight guests with pre-event and event recognition; a Gala Title Sponsorship at $2,500 adds membership in the museum's Leadership Circle; and a Premier Sponsorship at $5,000 tops the bill with community-wide recognition. Sponsorship inquiries can be directed to diego@moabmuseum.org.

With three days until the gala, the museum's own messaging has been direct: tickets are going fast and the event typically sells out.
