Ford Mustang GT3 gets Nürburgring-inspired HRT race livery for GTA V
HappyEndgr’s Mustang GT3 gets a 4K HRT Ford Racing livery tied to Ford’s live Nürburgring program, with OpenIV install into sgfordgt3.ytd.

The latest Mustang GT3 skin is aimed squarely at GTA V drivers who already run HappyEndgr’s add-on and want a current Nürburgring look that feels lifted from a real race week, not a generic fantasy wrap. This HRT Ford Performance, NLS 2026-inspired 4K livery recreates the No. 64 factory-supported Ford Racing entry in a way that fits screenshots, car meets, and endurance-style grids without changing the underlying vehicle model.
That focus is the point. The release does not try to reinvent the car or replace the base pack, it works as a texture-driven upgrade for the Ford Mustang GT3 add-on template. The mod page points users to OpenIV and tells them to drop the livery folder into the sgfordgt3.ytd texture archive, which makes the install straightforward for anyone already comfortable with template-based vehicle modding. For players running custom garage builds or FiveM-style race scenes, that dependency is the first thing to check before treating it as a must-have.

The real-world reference gives the livery its edge. Ford Racing said on May 7, 2026 that it was entering its second season at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with a three-car Mustang GT3 lineup for the 54th ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, held May 14-17. The No. 64 HRT Ford Racing Mustang GT3 was assigned to Arjun Maini, Fabio Scherer, Frank Stippler and David Schumacher, while Ford’s German materials said the car ran in a RAVENOL team design. The sister entries took different identities, with No. 67 in Bundeswehr camouflage and No. 65 in YOKOHAMA colors.
That context matters because Ford is using the Nordschleife as more than a race weekend showcase. The company has said lessons from the Mustang GT3 and Mustang GTD programs feed directly into road-car development, and it linked the 2026 campaign to recent Nürburgring record laps by the Ford GT Mk IV and Mustang GTD Competition. Ford also had a reason to lean into the track’s image after a class victory in its 2025 Nürburgring effort.

For GTA V modders, this is the kind of release that lands fast: a clean 4K race livery, a specific real-world team identity, and a direct tie to Ford’s current Nordschleife program. If the Mustang GT3 add-on is already in your garage, the HRT look turns it into a far more authentic endurance machine.
