GTA 6 Insider Claims Bobby Moynihan Voices Character Cal Hampton
Insider GameRoll says they're 95% sure Bobby Moynihan, the SNL veteran, is the uncredited voice behind GTA 6's Cal Hampton, citing voice and physical resemblance.

An industry insider known as GameRoll made a strong case last week that comedian and actor Bobby Moynihan is the uncredited voice behind Cal Hampton, one of Grand Theft Auto 6's characters. GameRoll, described as an insider with a well-known track record in the community, put their confidence level at about 95% sure.
The evidence GameRoll compiled draws on multiple angles. Moynihan's voice is said to sound exactly like Cal Hampton's, and the actor reportedly bears a physical resemblance to the character. Beyond the audio and visual match, Moynihan brings real motion-capture credentials to the table, having built up considerable experience in that discipline through recent projects including Disney films and the adult animated series "Star Trek: Lower Decks," where voice and performance-capture work are central to production. Moynihan also spent nearly a decade on Saturday Night Live, the run that made him a household name.
Perhaps the most community-friendly piece of evidence is a social media thread: Moynihan has been observed following actors already publicly linked to GTA 6, including Dylan Rourke. That kind of behind-the-scenes social connection is exactly the type of circumstantial breadcrumb the GTA community has learned to read carefully in the absence of official casting announcements from Rockstar.
Rockstar's secrecy around GTA 6 has made every fragment of casting information feel significant. The studio has spent over twelve years since Grand Theft Auto 5's release developing its follow-up, often working in what Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has characterized as a relentless pursuit of polish, an approach that has pushed the game's release date back multiple times. GTA 5 itself remains one of the most-played titles in the world more than a decade after launch, which only amplifies the stakes around every casting rumor.

No official confirmation has emerged from Rockstar or Take-Two, and Bobby Moynihan's representatives have not publicly commented on the claim. The casting, if accurate, would be uncredited in the traditional sense, consistent with Rockstar's long-standing practice of keeping its voice and motion-capture rosters tightly under wraps until the studio chooses to reveal them.
GameRoll's 5% of doubt is doing some heavy lifting right now, but with the launch window closing in, it may not be carrying that weight for long.
