GTA V Enhanced gets GMC Sierra Phantom truck mod with custom extras and sound
The GMC Sierra Phantom brings GTA V Enhanced a tuned pickup built for utility, with custom sound, handling, and garage-ready extras instead of supercar flash.

The GMC Sierra Phantom is aimed squarely at the players who want a truck that can do work, not just pose for screenshots. Built as an add-on for GTA V Enhanced and NVE, the package arrives with extras, sound, and handling support, giving the Sierra a more complete feel than the usual cosmetic swap. For a mod scene crowded with exotics and showpieces, that focus on utility is the point: this is a pickup meant to fit off-road cruising, rural roleplay, and everyday garage rotation.
The release reached version 1.1 with an original upload on April 15, 2026, and a quick update the next day. DimoSerb is credited as the custom mod author, with Heat listed as the original mod author and Streiter_V12 credited for the original engine sound. The install instructions use the spawn name 21sierra, which makes it easy to slot into a save without guesswork. That kind of direct setup matters in GTA V Enhanced, where players are balancing new content against performance and compatibility on the same machine.
The truck’s extras are the real hook for modded saves that lean toward realism. The changelog adds illuminated spiked wheels that change with rim color, matte black and gloss black tonneau covers, a front off-road light bar, and a bonnet-mounted exhaust in the update. Those details push the Sierra toward a more lived-in, custom-truck look, the sort of build that makes sense parked beside patrol vehicles, work rigs, or lifted 4x4s rather than another polished supercar. For players who like their garages to feel like a fleet, that niche is often more useful than a headline-grabbing performance car.
The mod also carries a stability message that should matter to anyone loading heavy visual packs. Its creator says it was developed and thoroughly tested on a clean version of GTA V to maximize stability and FPS, a strong signal for Enhanced users trying to keep large saves running smoothly. There is one caution: engine-sound problems can happen if other engine sound add-ons are already installed. That makes the Sierra Phantom a practical fit, but not a careless one.
Its timing also fits the current PC landscape. Rockstar’s free GTAV Enhanced upgrade arrived on March 4, 2025, after being announced on February 20, 2025, adding features that had previously been limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, including Hao’s Special Works vehicles and performance upgrades, animal encounters, GTA+ access, improved graphics, and faster loading times. Rockstar also renamed the old PC build GTAV Legacy and kept it supported. In that split PC environment, a cleanly built truck like the Sierra Phantom has a clear job to do, and it does it without chasing the spotlight.
