GTA V mod adds Vladivostok FM with improved HUD compatibility

TBoGT Vladivostok FM [Add-On] brings Vladivostok FM into GTA V as a fully working radio station, and version 2.0 fixes the icon problem that newer Community hud.gfx builds created. That matters more than the nostalgia alone: in a crowded modded install, a radio station that shows up cleanly on the wheel is easier to live with than one that breaks the UI every time the player cycles stations.

The release includes a custom HUD icon and track names, which puts it squarely in the compatibility-first camp. The mod’s own track IDs run from 10000 through 10014, a useful sign that it is slotted deliberately into GTA V’s radio system instead of being dropped in as a loose audio dump. For players juggling multiple add-on stations, custom textures, and wheel entries, that kind of structure is the difference between a polished setup and a folder full of small fixes.

The broader radio ecosystem explains why this update lands well. Community hud.gfx exists because all radio stations need a hud.gfx definition to display properly on the radio wheel, and the package is built with compatibility for all current radio stations and future radio mods. TBoGT Vladivostok FM [Add-On] lines up with that approach by fixing the newer Community hud.gfx issue directly, instead of forcing players to roll back other parts of their setup just to keep one station visible.

The station itself carries enough franchise history to justify the slot. Vladivostok FM appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City, where it was tied to Eastern European music. The Ballad of Gay Tony expanded the soundtrack across existing stations with more than 40 tracks, plus extra DJ banter and advertisements, and gave Vladivostok FM DJ Paul. The station’s Ballad of Gay Tony identity is also associated with dance, house and Eurodance, with playlist references naming David Morales, Steve Mac, J Majik & Wickaman, Booty Luv, Hook N Sling, Eric Prydz and David Guetta.

That is why this add-on works as more than a throwback. It preserves a recognizable slice of Liberty City radio inside Los Santos, but it does it in a way that respects the rest of the mod list. For players who want the Vladivostok FM memory without turning the radio wheel into a maintenance headache, the new version reads as the right kind of upgrade.
