GTA World April Update Brings Bowling Alleys, Faster Tools, and Staff Changes
Four bowling alleys opened across GTA World in March, and a staff admin tool now loads in one second after a redesign cut its previous six-second wait.

GTA World's April community update, posted to the server's official forums on Friday, detailed a month of steady progress across mapping, web development, and internal tooling, capped by the opening of four bowling-script-driven businesses that went live throughout March.
The most tangible infrastructure win in the update came from the server's UCP. A contributor credited as Selena redesigned several major request flows inside the platform, covering houses, leases, and properties. The update noted that Selena "blessed us with a whole new design for several of our major UCP requests (houses, leases, properties) and will continue to do so, along with major optimizations." The direct result: the "My Requests" page now loads in one second, down from six. For a volunteer-run server where staff handle high volumes of player requests, that kind of reduction matters well beyond the numbers on a stopwatch.
Facebrowser Live, GTA World's in-character social media web feature, also completed a successful rollout during the period covered by the update. The mapping team kept pace with four new projects greenlit in the same window, including a redesigned lobby for Weazel Plaza, one of the server's established in-character locations.
On the administrative side, the server welcomed a new Head of Leasing, and the update flagged organizational adjustments to the application schedules for community-run projects, signaling ongoing refinement of how new initiatives get approved and staffed. Property management received its own round of updates as well, though specifics on those changes were held for separate communication.
For players looking to stay current on what the server has scheduled next, the update pointed to the GTA World Discord: "Please follow the #events channel on the GTA World Discord server for schedule updates. You can also be notified of upcoming events by 'subscribing' to events on the GTA World Discord Server by using the /notifyme command in any channel."
Taken together, the April update reads less like a headline feature drop and more like evidence of a server operating at a consistent, sustainable pace. Bowling alleys give players new roleplay venues; faster admin tools give staff time back; new mapping projects keep the world visually fresh. GTA World has been running long enough to know that incremental progress, not splashy announcements, is what keeps a heavy roleplay community alive.
