LSPD Bravado Buffalo SX Pack (Add-On) appears on GTA5-Mods to match GTA Online's new police theme (uploaded 2026-04-09)
Takasaki Green's LSPD Buffalo SX pack landed on GTA5-Mods the exact day Rockstar opened the Buffalo STX Pursuit to all GTA Online players.

The timing was precise enough to feel deliberate. Takasaki Green uploaded the LSPD Bravado Buffalo SX Pack to GTA5-Mods on April 9, 2026, the exact day Rockstar made the Bravado Buffalo STX Pursuit available to every GTA Online player, not just GTA+ subscribers. For the single-player and FiveM crowd, it was an immediate answer to what was unfolding in Online.
The pack is an add-on dlcpack that runs alongside the base game rather than replacing anything. Takasaki Green's own description frames it squarely in Los Santos lore: "The Los Santos Police Department has officially put into service the Bravado Buffalo SX high-performance police interceptor, built exclusively for high-speed chases across the chaotic streets of Los Santos, packing full muscle-car performance and full law-enforcement hardware." Installation follows standard procedure: add a dlcpacks entry to dlclist.xml and drop the tm_lspdbuffalosx folder into mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/.
The "Buffalo SX" name is a deliberate lore-friendly adjustment. GTA modding convention holds that add-on vehicles take slightly altered names rather than matching official in-game designations exactly, so the Buffalo STX becomes the Buffalo SX. The official Online variant is modeled on a real-life 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit and has already been spotted in GTA VI trailers and screenshots, giving it cross-franchise visibility that few current Online additions can claim.
Takasaki Green didn't build the pack alone. Credits go to 11john11 for trunk equipment, Jacobmaate for lightbar and badge assets, and Toxic for siren work, among other contributors. Jacobmaate is one of the more recognizable names in the GTA5-Mods community, with contributions appearing across packs including the SAHP Bravado Buffalo STX and the Bravado Buffalo SL.

The official backdrop makes the release particularly well-timed. Rockstar launched the Neighborhood Watch event on April 2, 2026, as part of Title Update 1.72, "A Safehouse in the Hills," adding two new purchasable Bravado police vehicles: the Buffalo Cruiser, available to all players from April 2, and the Buffalo STX Pursuit, which GTA+ subscribers could claim free through The Vinewood Car Club from that same date. Non-subscribers had to wait until April 9 to purchase it from Warstock Cache & Carry at $5,370,000, or $4,027,500 at the trade price unlocked by completing the mission "Protective Custody." All police and emergency vehicles were placed on a 35% discount through April 15.
That police Buffalo arriving in Online at all carries five years of backstory. Rockstar had originally developed a police variant internally labeled POLBUFFALO for a planned but cancelled Cops & Crooks update around 2020. The content sat dormant before resurfacing in A Safehouse in the Hills. In the meantime, the modding community had been building Buffalo-based police packs independently, and GTA5-Mods already hosts several that predate Takasaki Green's release, including the Police Buffalo STX, the SAHP Bravado Buffalo STX, and the Police Buffalo STX Hellfire Custom.
The Neighborhood Watch event runs through April 15, 2026, with 2x money on Dispatch Work missions from the in-game character Vincent and a Weekly Challenge offering the Winter LSPD Officer Outfit and GTA$100,000 for securing two Bail Office Bounties. With LSPD content at peak community interest, Takasaki Green's pack arrives inside a narrow but well-defined window.
