Menyoo Trainer Updated for GTA V Legacy and Enhanced Builds

Menyoo 2.2.2 landed on March 19 with a targeted fix for the crash introduced by GTA V build 3788, keeping the long-running single-player trainer alive for modders on both versions of the game. The update also brings updated FiveM version build targets, rounding out a focused patch release aimed squarely at compatibility rather than new features.

Menyoo 2.0 is maintained by ItsJustCurtis and builds upon the foundation laid by MAFINS, who originally created the trainer before the project went dormant. After nearly a year of trying to update the old MAFINS repository with no response, ItsJustCurtis decided to publicly release and maintain a personal version of Menyoo 2.0. The fork carries MAFINS's approval and is recognized as the official continuation of Menyoo.

The build 3788 crash was a hard blocker. Players troubleshooting unrelated game issues were already pointing at Menyoo as the culprit and urging others to update to the latest version to resolve crashes after the new GTA V update. The 2.2.2 patch note is explicit: do not use the update with older versions of the game, which means players still on earlier GTA V builds should hold off and verify their game version before pulling the new .asi.

Menyoo PC is a single-player trainer mod for GTA V that works with ScriptHookV across both Enhanced and Legacy editions. Installation is straightforward: extract the downloaded zip to the GTA V root folder alongside GTA5.exe and press F8 to launch the menu. For Enhanced, the ASI Loader from OpenRPF is required, along with BattleEye disabled in the Rockstar Launcher.

ItsJustCurtis has described the project as one person continuing the legacy of Menyoo with the help of a few others, with the code kept open source so anyone can make their own changes and merge them in. Bug reports and feature requests are handled through the project's GitHub issues page and a dedicated Discord server, keeping the development loop public and community-driven.

The original MAFINS listing on GTA5-Mods.com is now deprecated and redirects directly to the ItsJustCurtis release, which has accumulated over 193,000 downloads, cementing its position as the definitive active build for anyone running Menyoo today. With GTA V's update cadence showing no signs of slowing down, the 2.2.2 patch underscores exactly why a maintained fork matters.
