New GTA 5 mod updates Paige Harris for story mode, Legacy and Enhanced versions

A small but sharply targeted GTA V mod has given Paige Harris a cleaner story-mode look, and it did so with the two-install reality of PC modding in mind. MP2SP Paige Harris replaces her story-mode model with the Heists DLC version, and the release was updated again one day after it first went live, signaling active upkeep for both GTA V Legacy and GTA V Enhanced users.

That split matters because Rockstar’s free PC upgrade, which launched on March 4, 2025, changed the way a lot of modded installs have to be handled. Rockstar said all current PC owners could upgrade for free and carry over Story Mode and Online progress, while also picking up features that had been limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, including Hao’s Special Works, ambient animals, GTA+ access, and kernel-based anti-cheat protections. Rockstar’s store now describes the PC package as including both GTAV Enhanced and GTAV Legacy for hardware that does not meet Enhanced requirements, so even a simple character replacement has to tell players which path they are on.

For Legacy, the mod page calls for CodeWalker or OpenIV, plus RageOpenV or OpenIV.asi. The install is straightforward but exacting: move the sppaigeharris folder into mods\update\x64\dlcpacks, then add the dlcpacks line to dlclist.xml. For Enhanced, the structure changes to CodeWalker and a Gen9-style folder path, using spPaigeHarris_Gen9 and a matching dlclist.xml entry. That is the kind of detail that decides whether a replacement drops in cleanly or turns into a broken texture hunt after launch.

The mod also points to the current tooling shift around GTA V Enhanced. OpenRPF is described as an OpenIV.asi alternative for Enhanced that loads modified files from the mods folder, while RageOpenV is presented as an open-source alternative to OpenIV.asi and OpenRPF.asi that works on both Legacy and Enhanced. The special thanks section names dexyfex, the creator of CodeWalker, and Skylumz, credited for Sollumz, which places the release squarely inside the modern GTA asset-conversion scene.

Paige Harris has long been a recognizable GTA Online face. Rockstar’s 2018 Terrorbyte update described her as Lester’s trusted hacker contact and tied her to the Terrorbyte’s Nerve Center, Client Jobs, and business management features. MP2SP Paige Harris takes that familiar online model and pushes it into story mode, giving single-player installs a closer match to the version players already know from GTA Online without changing missions, scripts, or gameplay systems.
