Concordance Ferments opened its doors on December 18, 2025, occupying the restored Pennypack Dungworth Mill in downtown Hatboro. Founded by brewers Dave Sakolsky and Abe Goldstein, the operation occupies a three story, roughly 8,000 square foot footprint that preserves the building’s historic character while adding modern hospitality amenities. The mill dates to 1724 and the site includes patios that overlook the adjoining creek.
The new venue is arranged to serve multiple purposes. A first floor lounge and bar focuses on casual pours and social gatherings. A second floor dining room features an open kitchen, tying a culinary program directly to the brewery’s fermentation work. A third floor is dedicated to events, offering a room that can host tastings, private dinners, and community gatherings. Outdoor patios provide additional seating and riverfront views during milder weather.
Concordance Ferments centers its identity on mixed fermentation techniques and a fermentation forward approach to food and beer. The tap list showcases a variety of styles intended to highlight that approach. Offerings include an Italian style Pils, a chocolate tinged Porter, a crisp Pale Ale, and a passionfruit raspberry Berliner. The restaurant program is pairing driven, designed to match the brewery’s beers with complementary dishes crafted in the open kitchen.

For Bucks County residents and visitors, Concordance Ferments adds a destination that blends history, production, and hospitality. The flexible event space provides a new option for private celebrations and community events, while the pairing driven menu offers diners an accessible way to explore mixed fermentation beers alongside curated food. The creekside patios and preserved mill architecture give the taproom a sense of place that differentiates it from standard urban brewpubs.
Concordance Ferments arrives as a locally rooted project that leverages both founders’ brewing experience and culinary fermention interests to create a multifaceted venue. Its combination of production focused beers, a full service dining program, and dedicated event facilities positions the mill as a new cultural and social asset in Hatboro.
