Connector Brewing to Close After Final Service Feb. 21, Owners Thank Community
Connector Brewing’s owners will pour their last beers at 3310 Carrington Road on Saturday, Feb. 21, closing the West Kelowna taproom they opened in May 2024.

The taps at Connector Brewing will pour their final pints Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, owners Colton and Rebecca Aston announced, ending service at the Carrington Business Park taproom at 3310 Carrington Road in West Kelowna. The couple invited the public to join a last gathering at the Westbank First Nation‑land location they launched in May 2024.
The Astons announced the closure in a social media post dated Feb. 12 and framed the decision bluntly: “After many conversations, a few deep breaths, and yes… a couple of beers, we’ve decided it’s time to close the doors of Connector Brewing.” The message acknowledged the practical side of the choice while calling for a communal final night.
The owners added a broader reflection on what the business meant to the neighbourhood: “Connector was never just about beer. It was about connection.” Their post traced the taproom’s live‑build origins and the role regulars played in making the space feel like home, adding that customers who walked in looking for a beer often left with new friendships.
The social post went on to name specific crews and moments: “It was about the folks who painted walls with us before we ever poured a pint. The friends who built tables and chairs by hand. The brave souls who showed up on opening day not knowing what to expect. The regulars who walked in as customers and somehow became family. The new faces who came in looking for a good beer and left with new friendships. You built this place as much as we did.” The Astons closed that passage with a direct invitation: “We’d love to see you one more time. Come raise a glass, share a story, laugh with us, maybe cry a little (we definitely will), and help us close this chapter the only way we know how - together.”

Connector Brewing’s closure follows a fast but carefully staged timeline. Colton and Rebecca moved to West Kelowna in 2020, secured the Carrington Road location in August 2022, and described the project as “three years in the making” when they opened in May 2024 with a plant‑forward, plant‑based menu. The brewery’s address sits inside Carrington Business Park on Westbank First Nation land, an operational detail the owners highlighted at launch.
The Astons also used the post to thank staff, calling the team the “heart and soul” of Connector and crediting them as the reason the taproom became what it did. Local beer counts will feel the loss: with Connector closing, the Central Okanagan now has 21 breweries. Patrons were encouraged to swing by for a final pint or two before the doors close on Saturday, Feb. 21.
