Three Notch'd Brewing Opens Greenville Taproom and Craft Kitchen March 26

Three Notch'd Brewing Company cut the ribbon on its new Greenville, South Carolina taproom and Craft Kitchen on March 26, bringing the Charlottesville-based brewery outside Virginia for the first time in its history. The Greenville Chamber of Commerce hosted the grand opening event as a community toast, with the Chamber describing the occasion as marking "the brewery's continued expansion into South Carolina and the opening of a new gathering place for craft beer, great food, and community."

Three Notch'd, headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia, is stepping out of the commonwealth for the first time with new locations in both Greenville and Columbia, South Carolina. The Greenville and Columbia spots are among the three former Iron Hill Brewery locations Three Notch'd acquired, with brewery owner Jeff Crivello confirming both South Carolina locations would be taking over Iron Hill Brewery spaces in the Upstate and Midlands.

The new address is 741 Haywood Rd, Greenville, SC 29607. Located near Haywood Mall, the Greenville Brewery and Craft Kitchen sits in one of the Upstate's busiest retail and dining districts, convenient to I-385 and just minutes from downtown. That positioning puts it squarely in front of the foot traffic a new taproom needs to build a regular crowd fast.

The kitchen brews fresh beer on site, pairing rotating taps with locally inspired, beer-infused dishes designed to complement the season and what's pouring, with a menu that goes beyond typical brewpub fare: burgers, shareable snacks, fresh salads, and chef-driven plates. The full bar features craft cocktails, wine, and local favorites, and the venue also offers a kids' menu alongside gluten-free and vegetarian options, with both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Regular hours run Sunday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Weekday happy hour runs 4 to 6 p.m. with $2 off beer, appetizers, and cocktails, and to-go cases are half price on Tuesdays. The brewery's Fresh Beer Club delivers three pints and two packs of beer per month for $20.

For private events, the space accommodates groups ranging from 20 to 200 guests, covering everything from rehearsal dinners and retirement parties to corporate meetings, with an in-house events and culinary team.

Three Notch'd was founded in Charlottesville in 2013 and had operated six Virginia locations across Richmond, Virginia Beach, Roanoke, Harrisonburg, and Nelson County before the South Carolina push. Greenville represents the brewery's first foothold in a new state, and with a Columbia location also in the pipeline, the Upstate taproom at Haywood is just the opening move.
