Urban South Announces Return of Paradise Strawberry Seasonal Beer
Urban South brings back Paradise Strawberry, brewed with real strawberries and on tap now at its New Orleans taproom for a limited spring run.

Urban South Brewery has announced the return of Paradise Strawberry, a seasonal strawberry variant of its top-selling Paradise Park American lager that the brewery says is brewed with real strawberries and available now at the New Orleans taproom for a limited time. The Feb. 10, 2026 press release frames the release as a springtime staple and a fresh twist on the brand’s flagship lager.
The brewery’s product page lists Paradise Strawberry as an American lager with 4.4% ABV and 10 IBU, offered in draught, 6-pack and 12-pack formats under the site’s Seasonal category. Urban South’s online description calls it “the strawberry version of our classic American lager” and product fields explicitly show ABV 4.4% | IBU 10 | Draught | 6-Pack | 12-Pack | Seasonal.
Urban South’s Feb. 10 press release noted geographic availability across the brewery’s distribution footprint, explicitly naming Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas - with a specific callout to Houston - and the Florida Panhandle. The product page lists availability using state codes LA, TX, MS, TN and AL; the press release adds the Houston and Florida Panhandle callouts, so supporters outside New Orleans should check local retail listings.
The brewery tied the release to regional spring rituals: the product page lists pairing suggestions as crawfish, festival season and picnics, and the press release encourages fans to visit the New Orleans taproom to enjoy Paradise Strawberry alongside classic Cajun and Viet-style crawfish. Urban South’s announcement says the taproom will serve crawfish through the end of crawfish season in May 2026.

Urban South’s Feb. 10 press release includes a sensory line that reads, “Brewed with real strawberries, Paradise Strawberry delivers bright strawberry aromas balanced by the crisp, clean finish of a classic American lager.” The release also carried a company quote from Kyle Huling, Co-Founder of Urban South Brewery: “Paradise Strawberry has grown into a unique brew that our supporters look forward to each year during springtime,” said Kyle Huling. “This new take on a classic lager reflects our promise of creating beers that bring something new and unexpected, while still delivering the great taste our supporters have come to love.”
For availability, the press release and product page direct supporters to use the Beer Finder on Urban South’s website to locate the nearest Paradise Strawberry retailer, and the site includes a “Find It Near You” callout plus a “Book Your Table Now!” prompt for taproom reservations. Urban South’s product page groups Paradise Strawberry under Seasonal alongside the brewery’s other offerings listed in site navigation, such as Paradise Light, Who Dat and Grapefruit Holy Roller.
The brewery positions Paradise Strawberry as a limited-time spring release; the Feb. 10 announcement puts it on draft now at the New Orleans taproom and in regional distribution, with taproom crawfish service running through May 2026. Use the Beer Finder to confirm which local accounts have draught, 6-pack or 12-pack stock before heading out.
