A cluster of recovery modalities now occupies 405 N. Newton Street in Jasper, where Jessica Knies, a licensed athletic trainer, opened Recharge Health + Wellness as a recovery-focused wellness studio on March 7. Recharge marked its debut with a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m., followed by an open house that invited neighbors to tour the new space.

Inside the studio visitors will find two red light therapy rooms fitted with BioMax Pro panels, each with presets for sleep support, skin repair, workout recovery and more for ease of use. Around the corner, a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna are anchored next to two cold plunge tubs, accentuating the contrast therapy options the studio emphasizes for post-workout and general recovery.

The facility layers hands-on and device-based tools as well: Hyperice X2 joint devices for knees and shoulders that can switch between heat, cold, and contrast therapy sit alongside multiple massage guns, some with heated heads. Recharge also offers vibrating foam rollers and a specialized vibrating massage ball aimed at piriformis and sciatic pain, part of the studio’s roster of targeted recovery aids.

Seating and sightlines are part of the studio’s design. “Or maybe you just need a massage in one of the three specialized chairs with a view of passing traffic through the windowed garage door,” the studio’s description reads, signaling a casual, street-level feel to the treatment area and a layout that blends therapy rooms with an accessible storefront presence.

Knies framed her business decisions around affordability and accessibility. Her simple pricing test is a personal one: “Could my mom afford this?” she asks when setting prices, membership tiers and buying new equipment. “The more opportunities we offer to help people, the better,” she explained. “While keeping it affordable is kind of my rule of thumb.”

Recharge Health + Wellness opened publicly with the announcement line, “Recharge Health + Wellness officially opens Saturday, March 7, with a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m. followed by an open house.” The studio’s opening materials also invited the community to follow the business on Facebook for updates and photos of the interior.

The announcement and early coverage specify the studio’s modalities and address but do not list membership rates, hours of operation or a staff roster beyond Knies. For now, Jasper residents who want to see the saunas, red light rooms and cold plunges in person can visit the open house attendees described on opening day, or check the studio’s Facebook presence for further scheduling and service details as Recharge settles into its North Newton Street location.
