Cerakey launched the Peak60 today, offering an accessible kiln-fired ceramic case designed to drop into GH60-compatible PCBs. The Peak60 is a tray-mount design with embedded brass screw inserts, intended to avoid placing screw stress directly on ceramic while letting users upgrade existing boards rather than buying a bespoke keyboard.

The case targets owners of popular GH60 PCBs, with examples named by Cerakey including the Wooting 60HE, Gateron GT60 Pro+, and Geon Venom 60 HE. Each Peak60 is produced using traditional kiln-firing and glazing techniques, which means every unit shows unique surface variation. One launch option, a crazed glaze, introduces fine glaze lines for a visibly textured finish. Cerakey emphasized volume accessibility rather than ultra-limited artisan commissions, positioning the Peak60 as a reasonable material upgrade for those chasing ceramic without long lead times or boutique prices.

Hardware and acoustic choices are built into the package. The Peak60 ships with poron foam for acoustic damping, silicone feet, a screwdriver, and pre-set brass inserts. The case weighs about 760 g and has a front height of roughly 22 mm. Those specs help explain the sound impact: Cerakey notes the ceramic dampens higher frequencies, producing a deeper sound signature compared with many plastic cases. For users after a heavier, more muted top end and a fuller low-mid, the Peak60 promises a distinct tonal shift without requiring a full custom build.

Cerakey opened sales with launch pricing to attract early buyers. White is listed at $107 during the launch discount window, while White Crazed Glaze is $134. Cerakey expects full prices to sit closer to $120–$150 after the discount window. Additional colorways, including blue crazed and pink crazed, are slated for later release.

The Peak60 changes the calculus for anyone with GAS for ceramic cases but limited time or budget. Rather than commissioning an artisan shell at much higher cost and lead time, users who already own a GH60 PCB can swap in a kiln-fired body that brings unique visual variation and a different acoustic profile. Verify PCB compatibility with the GH60 standard and the specific models named if you plan to retrofit a board.

What comes next matters for buyers: watch for the full-price window and the rollout of additional crazed colorways, and plan how the included poron foam and brass inserts will interact with your preferred plate, switches, and keycaps. For anyone chasing ceramic thock without artisan lead times, the Peak60 is the most accessible kiln-fired option yet.
