Ducky One 3 Pro Arrives With MX2A Switches, Triple-Shot PBT Keycaps
Ducky's One 3 Pro Nazca Line lands with Cherry MX2A switches, triple-shot PBT keycaps, and an 8,000 Hz polling rate across full-size, TKL, and 60% layouts.

Cherry MX2A switches are the headline upgrade on the Ducky One 3 Pro Nazca Line, a board that tightens up nearly every spec that mattered on the original One 3 while keeping the formula recognizable to anyone already in the Ducky ecosystem.
Building on the strengths of the One 3 series, the One 3 Pro Nazca Line incorporates Ducky's QUACK Mechanics+ design philosophy along with an 8K reporting rate, triple-shot true PBT keycaps, and a south-facing switch design. It also introduces the upgraded Cherry MX2A switch series, enhancing existing features and injecting new functionality into the lineup.
The keycap situation is worth dwelling on. Ducky uses triple-shot molding technology to produce high-quality, durable PBT keycaps, with the extra molding step intended to extend keycap lifespan and ensure superior typing stability. Switch options span the MX2A family: Cherry MX2A Brown, Blue, Red, and Silver are all available. The MX2A Brown delivers a distinct tactile bump with a 55g actuation force, while the MX2A Blue offers a tactile bump and audible click at 60g actuation force. Speed Silver trims actuation distance considerably: the Cherry MX2A Speed Silver features a short 1.2mm actuation distance and a 45g actuation force for fast response times.
Internally, the One 3 Pro Nazca features dual-layer, high-grade silicone and EVA foam sound dampeners, alongside improved PCB design, V2 stabilizers, and a remapped macro layout on a hotswap dual-layer PCB. The south-facing switch orientation is a deliberate choice for the aftermarket crowd: diverging from north-facing RGB found in conventional boards, the south-facing design provides better backlight visibility and ensures full compatibility with the majority of keycaps on the market, allowing any type of keycap without interference.
The One 3 Pro Nazca Line delivers inputs at an 8,000 Hz polling rate for optimal performance, a spec that puts it alongside high-end gaming peripherals but without any wireless overhead: Ducky opted for a wired-only approach, which makes sense given the 8,000 Hz polling rate, though that mode is not enabled by default.
Hot-swap is handled through Kailh sockets. Users can simply mount switches into place and pull them out without desoldering, making it straightforward to run any MX-compatible switch the community prefers. The MX2A switches are backwards-compatible with older MX switches, meaning there is no footprint change for anyone looking to drop in a favorite alternative.
The board ships without companion software, keeping all customization on-board through key combinations, consistent with Ducky's long-standing approach of keeping the firmware self-contained. The One 3 Pro Nazca Line is currently available at retail across the full-size, TKL, and 60% Mini configurations.
