Central Computers and Ohlone College RNG eSports are hosting Keyboards & Pie this Saturday, March 14, on the Fremont campus of Ohlone College, turning Pi Day into a five-hour gathering for East Bay mechanical keyboard hobbyists. The meet runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM PDT in Hyman Hall, 2nd Floor, at 43600 Mission Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539.

The event is built around a community show-and-tell, with organizers actively encouraging attendees to haul in their boards. The invitation is broad: "Whether it's a daily driver, a rare build, or your dad's IBM Model M, this is a chance to share it with other people in the hobby." Bringing a board also has a practical upside. Every Eventbrite registrant receives one raffle ticket, and anyone who shows up with a custom mechanical, Hall Effect, or retro keyboard earns an automatic second ticket. Standout builds are eligible for free swag, and particularly impressive boards may land on Central Computers' and Ohlone College RNG eSports' social media pages.

Beyond the show-and-tell, the afternoon includes gaming activities, giveaways, and general community mingling. The event is open to anyone with an interest in keyboards, whether that means arriving with a tray of Gateron Yellows or simply wandering in to see what people are building.
