Lofree Flow 2 delivers premium build, open firmware, metallic ping

The latest compact keyboard from Lofree made a strong first impression by addressing several long standing design weak points while introducing new ones. The Flow 2 moves from plastic shells to an aluminum unibody case, adopts a gasket mount, and ships with doubleshot PBT PC keycaps. It is offered in 65% 75% and 96% layouts, and US price ranges are listed on retailer pages. The board also gained QMK and VIA support and larger batteries across layouts, making it more attractive for custom key mapping and longer wireless sessions.

The review highlighted three new Kailh x Lofree Cloud switch options. Surfer is the linear option, Pulse provides tactile feedback, and Void is the silent variant. Real world testing reported solid typing and gaming performance, with the Flow 2 operating at 1000Hz polling for responsive play and low latency.
