MARTHIAL Drops MRTH 04 on 24/H Records, Continuing Catalog Series

MRTH 04 is a four-track release clocking in at 23 minutes and 6 seconds, catalogued under the MRTH 04 designation and released March 22, 2026 on 24/H Records. The EP lands under MARTHIAL's own imprint, with each track carrying the series title Risonanza: Risonanza 01 at 6:26, Risonanza 02 at 5:20, Risonanza 03 at 6:00, and Risonanza 04 at 5:20. The naming is deliberate and unadorned, four numbered movements under a single conceptual banner, with no track titles competing for attention.

24/H Records was founded by Alessandro Vaccari, known as Marthial, a DJ and resident of Milan's Tempio del Futuro Perduto, with the aim of inviting emerging and renowned artists to reside in its studio and dormitory spaces and craft a release within 24 hours. That constraint is the whole point of the label's existence: the mission is to compose, produce and publish tracks of electronic music in 24 hours, a creative test to push the skills of artists to the limits, giving little value to post-production and mystification, embracing imperfections because they make music human and unique.

MRTH 04 continues a catalog series Vaccari has been building under his own name on the label. The MRTH prefix is his own artist thread within the 24/H discography, distinct from releases by invited guests. Born Alessandro Vaccari, MARTHIAL is a DJ, producer, and founder of Milan's independent cultural hub, the Tempio del Futuro Perduto, and through the label has collaborated with influential artists like Stanislav Tolkachev and Fabrizio Rat.

The Risonanza concept aligns with where Vaccari has been pointing his production work across recent years. His DJ sets connect tradition, history, and technological innovation, mixing techno and soul drums to create a dark and cold atmosphere, at times softened by sounds reminiscent of French electro. The Risonanza series strips that approach down further, letting numbered movements carry the weight rather than individual track identities.

The Milan-born and -based artist has described his approach as "a reflection on change: everything transforms, everything evolves, and we are tasked with finding harmony between what has been and what could be."
