S.K.A.T.I. sharpens his raw techno sound on stripped-back Thirtytwo

Thirtytwo arrived as a deliberately narrow statement, and that is exactly why it cuts through. Released on May 8, 2026, the single pushed S.K.A.T.I. further into the stripped-back end of his sound, with Beatport describing it as a continuation of his raw, hypnotic techno approach built on focused structure, deep pulse and minimal form.

That choice matters in a crowded minimal field because Thirtytwo does not try to win by scale. It is a single, catalogued as PRVM032 on Proove Music, and the format sharpens the impact of every element inside it. The release leans on relentless repetition and transformation rather than hooks, which makes it the kind of record that can hold a long blend, steady a peak-time section, or keep tension alive without crowding the mix. In practical DJ terms, it reads as a tool as much as a statement.

The label context gives the track extra weight. Beatport lists Proove Music as a German techno label run by S.K.A.T.I., which means the aesthetic is being reinforced from both sides of the project, not simply handed down by an outside imprint. S.K.A.T.I. is identified on Bandcamp as a German-based artist from Rosenfeld, Germany, and he says he launched Now We Do… Recordings in May 2008 before starting Proove Music in January 2011. Under the alter ego Sudden Riot, he has also pushed into raw techno and more distorted material, so Thirtytwo fits a longer arc rather than a sudden detour.
