Sleep Is Commercial Drops Strati Vol.3, a Five-Track Minimal Techno Compilation
Sleep Is Commercial's Strati Vol.3 lands five tracks of afterhours minimal and deep techno, the Berlin label's first Strati instalment in nearly five years.

Sleep Is Commercial, which started as a music label in 2009 and has grown into what it describes as "an experimental, established and experienced factory for artists," dropped Strati Vol.3 on March 23, 2026, the third chapter in a various-artists series that has become one of the label's more focused statements in the minimal and deep techno space.
The release collects five tracks from different producers, tagged across afterhour, electronic, deep, minimal techno, and trippy territory. That range is consistent with how the Berlin-based label has always positioned the series: tightly curated, rooted in the afterhours end of the spectrum, and uninterested in genre-hopping for its own sake.
The Strati name has a clear lineage on the label. Strati Vol.1 dropped on March 11, 2021, carrying six tracks. Strati Vol.2 followed on June 17, 2021, trimming to five tracks and landing artists including FeRg, Francesco Assenza, Enrico Sedda, Fabrizio Siano, and Aleandro. Vol.3 now arrives nearly five years after that second instalment, matching its predecessor's five-track format.
The gap between Vol.2 and Vol.3 is notable given how prolific Sleep Is Commercial has been across other series in the interim, keeping its Excursions, Xv, and Trident lines active through that same period. Returning to the Strati name after such a stretch suggests the label found a collection of material specific enough to warrant reviving the format rather than slotting it elsewhere.
Strati Vol.3 is available now on Bandcamp.
