Techflex, the Vienna-based DJ and producer, released the Citadel EP on London's Children Of Tomorrow Records on 6 March 2026, delivering four tracks of raw, deep, and hypnotic techno under catalog number COTD127. The release crosses between 90s techno influences, dark Detroit flavors, and minimal techno tonalities, landing squarely in territory that regulars of the Children Of Tomorrow catalogue will find immediately familiar.

The four tracks run in sequence: Two More Days (5:30), Sirius (5:23), Monolith (5:26), and the title cut Citadel (5:19). Electrobuzz, which covered the release, described them as "4 meticulously crafted techno (raw / deep / hypnotic) releases" and noted that "spanning 140–145 BPM across its 4 tracks, this release gives DJs flexible tempo options for different set moments." The BPM spread breaks down precisely: Two More Days sits at 140 BPM in B minor, Sirius hits 143 BPM in G minor, Monolith runs at 142 BPM in Db minor, and the title track pushes to 145 BPM, also in Db minor.

Mastering was handled by ArTex Mastering, credited to Arnaud Le Texier, who co-manages Children Of Tomorrow Records alongside Emmanuel Ternois. The Bandcamp page describes the label as one managed by the pair, who "share their passion of timeless Techno since 1990." Le Texier's dual role as label co-manager and mastering engineer keeps the production chain tightly within the Children Of Tomorrow orbit.

For Techflex, the Citadel EP continues a run on the label that stretches back to 2023, alongside a wider discography that includes releases on Naked Lunch Records and Jeton Records. His productions span, as Electrobuzz put it, "raw and hypnotic techno to peak time driving tracks," and the Citadel EP leans into both ends of that range across its roughly 22 minutes of material.

The EP is available digitally in MP3, FLAC, and AIFF formats through Children Of Tomorrow Records on Bandcamp, with Demolate Records having premiered the title track ahead of release.
